The most obvious new feature is the color touchscreen display that provides an intuitive and full-featured interface. The extensive library of programs found in the popular Sutter Cookbook has been incorporated into the P-1000 puller and is available to the user via the touchscreen display.

New Lambda XL Extended Life Light Source
The newest member of our optical product family, the Lambda XL, is a broad spectrum light source with an expected bulb life in excess of 10,000 hours, many times that of any comparable light source. The Lambda XL has very good short term stability, with fluctuations of +/- 1% peak to peak. A single filterwheel and shutter driver is now an integral part of the Lambda XL cabinet design.

New MP-78 / MT-78-FS Moving and Fixed Stage Platforms
Designed for experiments where a large single stage is dictated, the MP-78 or MT-78-FS large-stage platforms provide solid, stable support and ample space to attach manipulators and other instruments as needed. The MT-78-FS, Fixed Stage platform, paired with a Sutter Instrument X-Y translator (either the motorized MT-800 or manual MT-500), offers a large, single-platform solution for researchers performing experiments requiring X-Y translation of the optical pathway in order to view multiple locations within the specimen at high resolution.
